Green Bathroom Walls I LOVE!

Bathroom walls are a great place to experiment with colour. The space is small, and often a large portion of the walls are tiled so it won’t take all day to paint for ALMOST instant gratification. If you are not happy with the result, it will also not take all day to REPAINT.

It’s no surprise that certain colours are more popular for bathrooms than others. You can’t go wrong with a watery blue, a light grey or a neutral beige. But lately my Pinterest feed has been full of stunning bathroom walls in rich GREEN. Yup, it might not be the first shade that comes to mind but take a look at these stunning spaces and you might soon be considering this unique colour for your bathroom.

First, let’s start with one of my favourite bathrooms in green. In this space, the wall paint colour is paired with black and white tiles, black fixtures and mirrors and that stunning console-turned-vanity. TIP: This is a great way to upcycle an antique piece of furniture!

Green also pairs beautifully with warm metals like gold. In this bathroom, gold sconces, fixtures and mirror add sparkle and glamour!

Often people are afraid to use dark colours in a small space in fear it will make the space feel smaller. It will. But that might not be a bad thing! This small bathroom gets a dramatic makeover with rich green walls and black vanity with a dark marble top.

Want to add a pop of colour to your bathroom? Try an accent wall! Balance a mossy green with plenty of white and wood for a modern farmhouse feel.

Remember that bathrooms are warm and damp. This combination, together with poor ventilation, can lead to mold growth. Not only is this unsightly, it can also be hazardous to our health. That’s why we recommend Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa. Not only does it cover better in less coats (even in dark colours) it is also designed to be mold and mildew resistant. Bonus – it is also formulated to resist water streaks!
